Disposal of Paint:

LATEX PAINT - Must be dried out with lid off

Some Lincoln Public School, the Community Playhouse, and some Local Colleges might accept donated paint. Only latex paint is accepted, please call the LPS office, Community Playhouse, or one of the local colleges for information.

NO oil based paints or solvents will be accepted for disposal.

Large piles of tree branches - Must be cut to 4-5 feet lengths, bundled, and placed by the curb. Call ahead for scheduling a pick up and for a price.

Hypodermic needles - Needles must be recapped and placed in a puncture proof container with a lid. Label the container "Infectious Waste"

Harms Refuse Service cannot dispose of any Hazardous Waste.
The City of Lincoln sets up sites during the year for households to dispose of hazardous materials. Please check with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department for dates and locations (Website).
